Can I just run the free check and not buy anything?
Yes. Most people do. The free check tells you whether you have a referral problem at all. We make money on the Engine, not on you signing up to things you don't need.
How long does the build take?
Three working days from when you submit your details. You'll get an email when the build is complete, plus a calendar link for the 30-minute walkthrough call. The monthly work starts from month 2.
What does the Engine cost?
£497 + VAT to build (summer special, usually £997), then £247/mo + VAT from month 2. The monthly is rolling, pause or cancel anytime.
What happens each month?
We monitor the questions real customers are asking about your category across Reddit, news and Google's own question data, publish in-depth answers to the highest-value ones under your name, and build third-party mentions. Every month is scored against your day-0 baseline and reported in plain English, so you always know whether it's working.
Can I just get the build and skip the monthly?
Yes. The Engine build is available on its own as a one-off, £497 + VAT, with a free re-scan at 90 days. No ongoing, you take it from there. Most businesses keep the monthly because the compounding is where visibility is won, but it's your call.
Who actually does the work?
Peter Fraher. Founder-led, no junior delivery, no account managers between you and the person doing the work. Where the build needs specialist hands (e.g. dev deployment) it's coordinated directly, not handed to a pool.
What if I have a bigger project than the Engine?
That's what Consulting is for. Book a 15-minute discovery call and we'll scope it properly. From £1,997 depending on scope. Multi-site businesses, e-commerce, larger content estates, heavier managed work, agency white-label, regulated sectors.
Do you work with agencies?
Yes. Many engagements are white-label or sub-contracted through agency partners. We work as the AI-referral layer behind your brand. Book a Consulting discovery call to talk through what fits.
Is there ongoing monthly work?
Yes, that's the heart of the Engine, the monthly answers your customers' questions, builds mentions and reports what moved. If you need something heavier than the standard monthly, we scope it under Consulting.
What AI engines do you cover?
ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity in the Engine and Consulting. The free Check uses 3 engines (drops Perplexity for speed). We add new engines as they reach scale.
What if I'm not technical?
You don't need to be. The Engine deploys everything for you, then the walkthrough call explains what was done in plain English. Your job is to give us access to your website. Ours is everything else.
What do I need to give you to start?
Your website URL, basic business details, and access to your CMS (or instructions for your developer to grant access). We'll send a short intake form once you've paid. Takes 5 minutes to fill in.
What happens if my score doesn't move?
Every month is scored against your day-0 baseline, so you see exactly what moved. AI tools update their recommendations on their own timeline, and some categories take longer than others. If the score hasn't moved materially, we talk through what to do next, sometimes that's more work in a category that needs it, sometimes it's Consulting. We'll always be straight with you about what we're seeing.
Will this work for my business?
The Engine works best for small UK businesses with a website that need to start showing up in AI search. Service businesses, local trades, professional services, salons, clinics, single-location SMEs. Larger businesses, multi-site operations, e-commerce stores, and agencies usually need a Consulting engagement instead.
